A Windows Service is installed on a internal server to connect to the ConnectWise manage database. This service transfers any changes to the Cognition360 data warehouse.
The data warehouse is able to store all ConnectWise Manage changes to allow easy reporting on trends. The Data is transformed by configurable business rules to a star schema for reporting. This allow easy “slicing and dicing” of your data and gives the ability to drill into details.
The integration is able to control what aspects of ConnectWise Manage is available to report on - starting with tickets and time entries, progressing thru to agreements, projects, configurations, and sales and opportunity data.
There are choices available as to where the reporting database (holding the star schema) resides. This ranges from a inexpensive multi-tenanted SAS option, to a database in your Azure tenant, right thru to a reporting database back in your own data center.
