Nick Boetcher of Avalara kicked off the webinar by highlighting the key business challenges that Avalara solves: costs and opportunity, sales tax complexities, automation and productivity. 44 of the 45 states with a state sales tax have adopted economic nexus. Avalara helps MSPs manage the complexities of economic nexus and all temporary tax changes as a result of COVID-19.

ConnectBooster is the next solution highlighted on the webinar. Ryan Goodman shared how ConnectBooster can help reduce aging account receivables. ConnectBooster’s customer portal enables MSP’s end users to pay instantly or set up autopay. The customer portal can also automatically send billing statements and notify end users if payment is past due. 74% of ConnectBooster partners were able to reduce aging account receivables by thirty days or more.

Matt Preston, API Specialist at ConnectWise, also joined the webinar to provide an overview of ConnectBooster and Avalara’s integrations. As members of the Invent program, both vendors have worked closely with ConnectWise to develop best in class integrations and have certified integrations.
