API Keys from BrightGauge

First you need to get API keys from BrightGauge. This happens in the ASIO platform which you can launch from home.connectwise.com. Before that happens, here are the requirements as of today 10/17/24

ConnectWise SSO must be enabled.
Asio must be provisioned to your account with all appropriate entitlements required for integrations.

Enter API Keys into Strety

Then take those two keys and head to Strety Adminland. As an admin or owner user type, you can get to the Integrations page where you will scroll down to the bottom and find BrightGauge

Powering Metrics with BrightGauge

Once the integration is set up, when you go to create a Metric in Strety, you’ll see the option for BrightGauge under the Data Source, in addition to the standard data source options of manual entry and calculated metrics.
Once you select BrightGauge as your Data Source, you'll be able to choose a Headline Gauge. These numbers will take a snapshot weekly, and you can always see which Gauge is powered. You can also click on it, and it'll take you to the Gauge builder itself.

Features:

The Metric will show the Gauge-powered number in the CURRENT week. If you have that disabled, you won't see the gauge number right away.
Snapshots are taken daily at 11:30 UTC so when it's time to check in, that number is from that last time.
You can always manually refresh the number to get the latest number when you check in. You can manually refresh only every 5 minutes.
You cannot manually override the BrightGauge-powered number in a scorecard.

Strety's ConnectWise Asio Integration is certified via the ConnectWise Invent Program.
