    Pros: - Integration with ConnectWise - Delivery of quotes and ease of approval - Ability to copy quotes and items Cons: - Latency has increased since becoming ConnectWise Sell - Inability to speak directly with the engineering team. These support issues are routed through 1st level support acting as the middleman - The Real Time Pricing feed does not populate the suggested price field for Synnex, only for Tech Data. It used to work last year (2016). - Unable to copy items from templates

    We have been using Sell for over a year now, we started with Sell to a fix a problem of sending out professional quotes, what happened is all the quotes that had been sitting out there with no attention, were getting signed. We paid for Sell 3-4 times over in the first couple signed quotes. Its truly a wonderful product, especially looped in with the rest of the ConnectWise Suite.

    Quosal is such a wonderful tool! It has accelerated our bidding/quoting/selling process for our MSP 100 fold! The features are constantly being updated, the interface is slick and easy to use, and most of all, it helps us sell, sell, sell! You would be hard pressed to find a solution better than this, as we have tried a couple of others, and they don't compare with the power and flexibility of Quosal.

    CW Sell was a Great Leap Forward from the quote package we used previously. Integration, workflow, and presentation all worked and looked better. Plus baked in e-signature closing lowers the barrier to client final approval- no scan, sign, print tomorrow thinking on their part. Being notified each time the prospect views the quote is excellent! There is a lot of complexity under the hood .. simplifying and further bulletproofing it will add even more value to this powerful tool.

    I have been using Quosal Sell now for roughly 2 years and it has been great. Not only is it easy to navigate but also great that is is web based as we use to use Quosal Inhouse. They are constantly updating it to have even more great features. They make it very easy and professional to quickly create a quote and send to the client. It is also even easier for the client to approve.

    I think it is great that quosal integrated with our CRM tool connectwise. I like having the ability to build and track quotes right inside the database. I feel that I get lost in the tool, even after the training and previous work with quosal and would appreciate access to some additional training tools.

    Very easy to use. I love how you can copy a previous quote and then customize it for your new quote by changing the quantities/types of products. Making or changing tabs is easy and the learning curve is not difficult. It does take some time setting up how you want your quotes to look in the set-up tables.

    First and foremost, ConnectWise Support is top notch! From meeting a few team members at DattoCon, I was introduced to the amazing faces behind the program we use on a constant basis. Updates continue to make a huge improvements to my workforce that even I had no idea we can improve on. ConnectWise Sell is a necessity. It integrates seamlessly into our workplace and we constantly hear how nice the reports and ease of access it is from both internal and clients alike! Keep up the great work!

    We received many complements on the quality of our proposals, their appearance, logical organization and readability - all elements of a professional proposal. While the outcome delights clients and prospects, our journey has been extremely frustrating - poor support ranging from lack of knowledge by CW Sell support staff for basic support questions to complex. In general, a poorly designed interface, buggy features, and lack of quality support. We're actively searching for a replacement.

    CW Sell has great features to allow us to service our customers better, one commonly used feature is to import quotes from distributors and process orders quicker without re-entering data. The quote information is accessible via the CW centralized application to all that have the appropriate permissions.

    I used to manually create quotes using Word and Excel - whole lot of cutting and pasting. Now I can create quotes so much faster. I have the links to our distributors working so I can see availability as well. The electronic signature and integration with CW: Manage speeds the whole process way up. Great investment!

    Quosal works great and is easy to use. When quosal sell first came out it was fast, but missing many features from create. I switched to Sell about 8 months ago and haven't had to use create since. Its easy to make quote packages, the vendor integrations for inventory and pricing works great, i like the ability to pull information from previous quotes. The text editor for item notes could be better, I often write service descriptions in Word and copy paste to avoid challenges with formatting

    ConnectWise Sell is a great tool with a lot of features. We recently upgraded from Quosal Create. Of course a lot of the features transferred, but they were also improved. It totes a much better user interface and a lot of useful tools for managing the sales process.

    Quosal has been a great investment for our team. It has enabled us to deliver professional level quotes while having a great way to track the progress of our sales efforts. We are also CW users and it is great that we can integrate the two in our work flows.     Quosal has been a great addition to our company. It has increased our efficiency and standardization. The quotes look awesome and very professional, and Quosal makes it easy to track opportunities from start to finish. The integration with Connectwise has been such a time-saver, as when a quote is one it can integrate directly with both invoicing, projects and the service board. The only downside about Quosal is that it takes a while to get to know. But if you have the time, it is worth it.

    Quosal/Sell is a fairly robust quoting platform that integrates well into the ConnectWise suite. There are a lot of automated functions contained within Sell for updating 'My Opportunities' which saves users time from manually having to update products and services. With training and practice, the time from a customer request for products and services to a quote in their hand has been improved four fold over. As an example, a proposal we did had +30 items and took about 1 hr from build to send.

    CW Sell integrates nicely with the rest of the product suite. Overall, it does the job and does it reasonably well. The licensing model/costs have changed from what it was when we bought in to the Quosal product several years ago. From that point, we aren't sold on whether or not it is the "best" solution for proposals but it isn't the worst either.

    We have used Sell for many years now. It is extremely powerful and fully customization, which makes it intimidating to get started with the product. But with many of the features built in and extremely helpful support team, it should be easy to get going. Once its implement dont stop, go to bootcamp and quotation nation to get the full benefit of your investment in the product.

    I have been using Sell for several months now. It took me a few days to get in to it, but the integration of video and PDF files into quotes has helped me create some very slick looking proposals. Templates and copying quotes is also a feature that makes creating new quotes quick and easy. Very polished and professional look.

    I find the support when trying to resolve a problem arises to be pitiful. They are frequently unprofessional. I DO NOT recommend using them unless absolutely necessary. The system seems to be very labor intensive when setting up. Others when using the system have pricing randomly changing for no apparent reason.

    Using Quosal for the last year and it has elevated the look and feel of our proposals/quotes. The Order Porter functionality is a great client experience. Payment interface is lacking/limited. This is a web based application and it isn't as fast as a locally hosted solution so if you turn out a ton of proposals be aware. We do ~125/mo across a team of 5 and it can be a bit slow. The end result is polished and professional. Pricing isn't bad and worth the deliverable. CW integration was key!

    I make a number of changes to each quote and it is difficult to find the latest copy without having to rely on the Version function. Add a date/time stamp that is always printed on quotes so it would be a lot easier to find the most current version of the quote. Jerry

    Sell provides a seamless way to integrate our quote process with ConnectWise. We have one place to initiate our sales process and follow through to completion, keeping all financial information intact. The templates are easy to use and order porter is great! It would be nice if we could have different versions of a quote housed in the same overall quote and we could select which option our customers choose (rather than having to create separate opportunities for each different quote).

    Quosal Sell, now ConnectWise Sell, was a great addition to our organization in early 2014. Quosal integrates with multiple distributors to help our team find costs and descriptions for part numbers. It also seamlessly integrates with ConnectWise Manage, which streamlines our sales process. The quote input and output templates are customization and there are a number of options right out of the box. We're happy with the Quosal Sell system and their tech support.

    Quosal Sell has had a tremendous impact on our Sales Team and has been particularly effective for us in speeding up the time a quote is sent to our customer to the time we get the signed quote back. The templating is amazing, Order Porter is great and has been a hit with our customers. I can't say enough good things about Quosal.     Connectwise Sell was a minor shift from Quosal. We are a small company, so we do not need all of the available features. What we do use has been consistently reliable. Having tabbed quotes with optional items is very nice. The whole system is fairly customizable. I enjoy the ease of coordination with Connectwise and the ability to convert sales orders to configurations.

    Excellent CRM package, highly recommended. Quosal is great tool with images, auto margin and formula calculations, .pdf conversion and much more. The ONE key drawback and disappointment is Quosal server can be very slow and shut down at times. This needs to be rectified. Otherwise exceptional and scalable application.

    Quosal /ConnectWise Sell has been the only CPQ tool I have used, but I have been using it for about 5 years now, from Quosal Create to Quosal Sell to the current ConnectWise Sell. I have also had insight into QuoteWerks and can say that the UI has been significantly cleaner and easier to navigate in Quosal. I recently attended a Sell Bootcamp and had my eyes opened to what all Sell is capable of, with tab templates and customizing emails and more. It really does do everything we need.

    This has been the best tool for sending quotes that I've used. In one place I can review what I've quoted customers in the past. What opportunities I’ve sold and what I’ve lost. Making sure that I maintain consistency in my pricing. Copying items from one quote to another saves valuable time and let me get more done. The fact that it integrates into Connect Wise is the icing on the cake.

    Although Quosal represents a significant upgrade over our previous systems, especially with the direct Connectwise integration, there are some issues. It's a highly complex (and capable) system, but the performance could be better. The learning curve is also pretty steep, but if you're willing to put in the time then the payoff is significant.

    I used Quosal Create previously and converted to CW SELL several months ago... I'm really pleased with SELL so far. It's more intuitive and better integrated with CW MANAGE. There were things in Create that I had to rig or work-around to get the way I wanted them. Now, I've found that SELL has quick buttons or features that accomplish those things in a click or two. (would be nice if there was a way to insert a page break on PDF without doing a new section...maybe there is)

    ConnectWise Sell is pretty awesome. While we do not take advantage of all it's features yet, it is nice to have a proposal and quote all in one. The ability to add tabs and notes (sections) to the proposal is a life saver. Only working with this for a few months and already feel pretty confident in most basic things it can do. Appreciate the "Optional" buttons as well. Getting signatures online and then converting over to ConnectWise Opportunity helps streamline the process. Thanks.

    Sell is a very flexible program that allows me to use my internal inventory, my suppliers, and create one off ones for quotes. It is easy to track the status of each job and every quote looks professional and clean. I would recommend this tool for any IT department with many quotes and jobs running constantly as a way to manage and improve the experience for both technician and client.

It's great that they can easily approve by email. If needed, I can also create a great looking proposal to present directly to the client.     The tool has been helpful in sending out quotes and keeping them organized. Extremely complicated to learn but handy. Sell support has not been very impressive when we've had issues and/or questions. Sell and Manage are not on the same page of how you should be managing your quotes and using the tools, so they are competing and doing a few redundant things. I'm hoping that with Connectwise purchasing Sell, they will be able to take it to the next level, but it still has a ways to go.

    We have been using Connectwise/Quosal for about 6 months. I have found that the system as far as making quotes is effective. I have had multiple issues with the system that to my knowledge were not resolved. I asked for assistance and received haphazard attention at best. I have since canceled the requests for assistance due to the lack of positive support. I filled out a survey each time the ticket was closed and made note that I requested someone contact me. No one has. Service is terribl

Leaps and bounds above the capabilities of NetSuite. Professional quotes with ability to access historical versions for easy rollback. It has saved tons of time now that I can create quotes myself and have them automatically sent for peer review and approval. I love the integration with ConnectWise manage because it creates one smooth pipeline for all my opportunities from start to finish. Some of our departments here are not yet using CW Sell. I am hoping we switch over every department soon to make all of our business processes more efficient.

    The new Connect wise is better for printing quotes, but still has issues uploading opportunities and changing landed costs. I have generated many quotes that were priced below costs because the tool defaults back to a wrong landed cost after I manually adjust it. Even after pressing save. Lately, there have been error messages which force me to reload quotes as well.

    We have been using Connectwise Sell (Quosal) for over 5 years. We have seen the platform evolve significantly from when we first started. While the platform is solid, functionality fairly robust, we do seem to have a problem with customization abilities, etc to fit the different areas of our business. My main reason for holding back from 4 or 5 stars is support. It has been increasingly more frustrating on dealing with support and getting issues resolved in an adequate and timely manner.

    I have experienced all the same problems reported by Alex Huntington and more. When you pay for Quosal, you’re paying for the privilege of being a beta tester. Whenever the bugs get fixed to where we can stand to use the software another update comes out and all our problems come back. - ConnectWise integration needs improvement. When a quote gets approved and updated into ConnectWise the vendor information, cost and SKU does not update if the item already exists in ConnectWise. We have had to come up with a CSV template in Quosal that we then export and manually attach to the opportunity in ConnectWise so that our ordering staff have the vendor, SKU and cost information. - You are reliant on Quosal Support to create the XRPT templates that you need to produce the PDF output of your quotes. - The software does not properly support multiple users – when your co-workers change settings for themselves a lot of those changes will affect you too. These shared settings include changes to the e-mail template and which PDF template is your default when publishing a quote. This has caused me a lot of frustration when I’m publishing a quote only to find out that I have someone else’s personalized e-mail template again! - Some settings require metadata to be re-uploaded to Order Porter. For some reason this is not automatic, and if this step gets skipped which has happened to us on a few occasions then clients can lose access to some or all of your quotes. You may not find out about this until a client calls you to let you know they cannot view your quotes hours later. - Real time pricing is inexplicably intermittent. It sometimes works, but mostly does not. - Information you just entered for a product disappears frequently. This is a recurring problem when Quosal gets updated and happens regardless of what browser you’re using. Trying to save data you’ve entered on a product page will cause the page to re-load with the data missing. This turns a 20 minute quote into a 3 hour quote. It blows my mind that this slips into the production version of the product. Does no one test updates before pushing them to the users?! - Changing from one page to another can just hang on a spinning wheel. This can also result in lost data due to having to manually refresh the browser window, and is just another reason why a 20 minute quote turns into a 3 hour quote. - The software is not intuitive. The settings screens get very complicated, and some features that should be easy to access are buried several layers deep. Automated processes like re-uploading metadata are manual and can be forgotten about which breaks part of the software functionality. Options that should be easy to access like making items on a quote optional, or letting the client set their own quantities are buried.

    Unhappy with Quosal: We moved from IT Quoter to Quosal when we found IT Quoter didn't quote have all the features we needed. In the process we also reviewed QuoteWerks. We chose Quosal because of the interface and ConnectWise integration however we have been disappointed in the product to date. Fist Issue: Speed It takes 3-12 seconds (depending on function) for each action to complete which doesn't sound like much but when you have to add/remove edit a few products on each tab as well as create the quote, select the customer, add the contact, preview the quote, update the contents, search for products it becomes a very clunky and frustrating experience. So almost every click within the quote process produces a grey loading tint on the screen. Not what we expected from a Cloud software. Second Issue: Support & Stability In the last 4 months we have had out products all drop out of Quosal 4-5 times and currently we are unable to create any new quotes. Not only is this a regular and reoccurring issue but even after escalating it with our account manager a number of times but haven't heard back for a week or so. We have had other smaller outages and been unable to access the system as well as a few issues after upgrades etc but they are usually fixed within a day or so once we log a case. Third Issue: Single Sign On One of the cool features of Quosal was to link to existing ConnectWise accounts so it automatically signs you in. Unfortunately each time a users password expires or is reset the next time they login it creates a duplicate account and they loose all their quotes. After speak with ConnectWise we were simply told to turn this function off which was disappointing. Forth Issue: Permission Granularity When creating quotes you can publish them with several options e.g. Raido Buttions, Quantity boxes & check boxes. These can be per product group or tab. Unfortunately you HAVE to be an administrator to set these options on each quote. As I'm sure most people can understand there are very powerful options to offer clients when approving quotes to be able to customise them to their requirements. however as we all know no one customer is the same so Sales people need the ability to change on a per customer or per quote basis what check-boxes or other items are displayed and how (per items/tab etc) Quosal catalog which holds all of your supplier feeds so you can quickly search and add products with the latest prices to your quotes is a separate system and requires a separate login, also it is only available to Quosal Administrators so If i wanted a procurement team member to be able to add/remove & edit supplier feeds or products they need to be a full Quosal administrator. There have been a few other small things with the UX/UI that could be improved e.g being able to add more than one product at a time to a quote via the search function. However these are I assume going to be present in most solutions as is the case with most software interfaces its hard to get something that is perfect for everyone. Apart from the the user interface is nice and reasonably well customisable and the price is ok but if given the choice again we would have chosen another provider. AlexH

    We have used Quosal for a couple of years now. It represents a huge improvement over the old Excel-based quotes that we used to generate, but it has its weaknesses too. The tool is complex, and takes time to learn. The developers should put time into making the interface more intuitive and more closely integrated with Microsoft Office. Overall, I am quite happy, and I really like the tight integration with CW.

We are able to setup quoting templates that make it easier for our inside sales team to create professional looking and accurate quotes in an efficient manner. The fact that it links with many of our vendors and with ConnectWise make it a great addition to our toolset.

    I seem to be a outlier with only 4 stars, but I can't justify 5 stars due to the complexity, performance (slower than desired), and requisite ramp-up time/investment required to truly leverage this solution. Stated simply...it's overly complex and requires a great deal of training to truly master. I could say the same of MANY really good software solutions - so it isn't a death sentence -- on the contrary, it's a great solution... IF you put in the man-hours to learn/leverage it. IMO, you should haven't to learn so much to use a quoting tool.

    Quosal is one of those programs you wonder how you lived without once you get it. The ability to pull in real time data on pricing and availability through Etilize, and then have all the data automatically populate your ConnectWise opportunity (and mark it approved once the customer accepts the quote via order porter) is fantastic! It frees up so much of that "Admin Time" for the Account Managers to actually spend on bringing in new customers!

Not only has the software helped automate our quoting but their integration points with our software applications makes it extremely effective and a must have. Their company staff has always been great to work with which is almost as important as the software itself. Their support team gets back you in a timely manner on support issues, their design team goes above and beyond on your quote design and templates and works with you (with patience I might add), and their executive staff truly cares about their customer relationships.     It is hard to say which of these two main things makes me love Quosal more - the professional and high-tech delivery of my quotes, or the ease with which the process flows now. For years I delivered quotes via Excel spreadsheets and custom pdf's, and I grabbed product photos from vendor websites. The result finally came to look professional, but certainly not high-tech. It was so laborious that I dreaded the quote process. Now, my quotes are easily assembled, easy to replicate for other clients, and definitely represent high-tech! One other benefit to Quosal that I use ALL THE TIME- the Dell Premiere paste in. I frequently complile quotes from Dell Premiere, and being able to use this feature really rocks our IT World. We at LA IT Girl are huge fans of the product, and staff, at Quosal.

    Quosal is one of those AH-HA moments in business. I had been using other products, and had always given very high importance to the quality of our quotes. As a result, we enjoyed a decent conversion of quotes to sales, but we became complacent, and things were moving, but not building. We Purchased Quosal and jumped into the process, customization and game-changing Order Porter solution. Sales shot up, making it like shooting fish in a barrel. Our sales cycle was shortened tremendously. Quosal makes even large purchase IMPULSE PURCHASES... Case in point: One of the first sales made through Quosal was a $50,000 order placed at 2 am via order porter, paid with a credit card.... Boom. Woke up the next morning to e-mails and tickets created in our ConnectWise service boards. No running around trying to close, no running around with our hair on fire after an acceptance... Just a tidy sales process that makes our team look like rock stars.

    Quosal is not a nice to have for us, it's a must have. If you rely on ConnectWise to run your business, then it's simply not enough without Quosal. Quosal provides us with key performance indicators such margins on every proposal, opportunity creation direct to ConnectWise, etc. There is real-time integration giving price and availability with distributors, ability to customize delivery formats, plus the simplicity of being able to create templates so you don't redo your work every time. Create several templates and then spend time fine tuning, not redoing the same quote time after time. We switched to Quosal years ago and never looked back. Kent and his team had our basic operation going in 1 day as they clearly understood the market and needs of a sales organization. Plus they gave us some excellent ideas to make our proposals look great, easy to read and the ability to know in real time when a client is looking at the quote via Order Porter. Order Porter is worth the cost alone. Finally we just deployed Quosal Sell and are VERY impressed. Our sales staff is even more mobile and faster to react to our clients. It's one thing to have a great product, but to see it genuinely improve it's feature set is phenomenal. The ability to quickly deliver proposals, and get signoff has really shortened our sales cycle with clients, and leaves us with a much more professional interaction with clients. Who EVER wants to have to send pdf's to have clients print out, sign, and send back? With Quosal we have eliminated that. Finally, the tight integration with Connectwise has been phenomenal. it has helped us drastically streamline our process from approval to delivery of product. That in and of itself has paid for the product many times over. NickB
